Since the Charger was refreshed in 2015 and gained a new trim in 2021, Dodge made only one minor update to it for 2022. A new deluxe security alarm is available on lower Charger models and comes standard on higher trims.

The new Charger is available in five major trim levels, including:

• Charger SXT: This entry-level trim comes with keyless entry and ignition, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote start, and more.
• Charger GT: Comes with everything in the SXT model, but adds a sport suspension, a functional hood scoop, heated outside mirrors, and 20-inch wheels.
• Charger R/T: Comes with an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen featuring SRT® performance pages. It also has Houndstooth cloth seats with performance bolsters and an electronically controlled active exhaust.
• Charger R/T Scat Pack: This trim adds high-performance brakes, a heated steering wheel and heated front seats, and launch control.
• Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody: This range-topping model comes with leather-trimmed seats, an adaptive suspension, and a power-adjustable steering wheel.
